1. Shifting Of Customer Service Centre

In our effort to provide one stop solution to the needs of customers, the Customer Service Center and other attached units like the Cash Counter, New lines –Commercial Office, Accounts Officer (Cash& Accounts) of South West Zone in Chennai Telephones which are presently functioning at 6, New Street Alandur Chennai-600 016 will be shifted to BSNL’s own building at 40-E, CIPET Road, Thiru-vi-ka Industrial Estate Guindy Chennai-600032.

 The Customer Service Center and all other offices will function at the new premises from 16-07-2007.  Enquires can be made with the Customer Relations Officer at Telephone No: 2250 1940 

2. e-Recharge Facility For Excel Prepaid Mobile Connections 

BSNL, Chennai Telephones is happy to announce the launch of e-Recharge Facility (Channel Top up) for recharge and top up of Excel Prepaid Mobile connections” for our esteemed customers on 16th July 2007.

Using this novel technology, prepaid mobile customers (Excel) can recharge / top up for standard denominations through any of the franchise retail outlet / Area Customer Service Centers of Chennai Telephones.  As the recharge is done electronically,e-recharge eliminates the need of a physical recharge coupon and the practice of scratching and recharging.  After every e-recharge, a SMS with Transaction ID will be sent as confirmation.  

This facility is a great boon to franchisees and retailers as it eliminates the stock inventories of recharge / top up coupons of various denominations.
